Entry-Level Instrument Technician

We are hiring an Entry-Level Instrument Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in industrial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in instrumentation and a desire to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or defects in the instruments
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications and standards
- Install new instruments as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation is a plus
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and procedures accurately
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment when necessary
