Instrument Technician


We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Mombasa. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. Your duties will also include troubleshooting issues, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently.

Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of various types of instruments and control systems such as valves, transmitters, and sensors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments according to technical specifications
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and conduct repairs as needed
- Perform regular maintenance on all instruments and control systems
- Monitor performance of instruments and make necessary adjustments or replacements to ensure optimal functionality
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on the instruments including maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades
- Collaborate with other team members to identify potential issues or improvements for the instrumentation systems

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
