Petroleum Engineer

Our petroleum engineering company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing strategies to extract oil and gas from reservoirs underground. You will also be involved in designing and implementing drilling plans, as well as monitoring and optimizing production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, with specific knowledge of petroleum engineering techniques. Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is required for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to determine the most efficient methods for extracting oil and gas from underground reservoirs
- Design drilling plans and supervise drilling operations
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to optimize production
- Collaborate with other engineers and geoscientists to develop new technologies for oil extraction
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
- Prepare technical reports, data analysis, and presentations for management
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, especially related to petroleum extraction techniques
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
- Proficient in industry-specific software such as Petrel or Eclipse
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of successful project management within tight deadlines
