Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our company's computer network and systems. This includes setting up and maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring the security of our systems. Your role will also involve monitoring server performance, implementing upgrades and updates, and providing technical support to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware.
- Troubleshooting network issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the security of our systems by implementing firewalls, encryption methods, and other security protocols.
- Monitoring server performance to identify potential problems or bottlenecks.
- Installing upgrades and updates to keep the network running smoothly.
- Providing technical support to end users for network connectivity or systems issues.
- Maintaining documentation of network configurations and procedures.
- Conducting regular backups of data to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborating with other IT team members to plan for future improvements or expansions.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN design, routing protocols, etc.
- Experience with firewall configuration and security protocols.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Multan
