Blast Furnace Operator
Operate and maintain blast furnace in steel production plant. Monitor temperature, pressure, and chemical levels to ensure efficient operation. Load and unload raw materials and finished products using heavy equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn parts. Troubleshoot and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. This position requires the ability to work in hot and physically demanding conditions for extended periods of time. Previous experience in a steel production facility is preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English and have a strong understanding of safety protocols. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month, located in Eldoret, Kenya.
