Preservation Architect
Our architecture firm in Balzers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the restoration and preservation of historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other architects to ensure that preservation projects are completed successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that meet client's needs while adhering to historical guidelines
- Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications for restoration projects
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to oversee the construction process
- Ensure that all preservation projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Monitor quality control during construction to ensure adherence to design plans
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- In-depth knowledge of historical architectural styles, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Balzers (open to candidates from any nationality)
