Administrator - Malayalee Community (Part-time)
The Administrator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Malayalee community in Nairobi. This part-time role offers a salary of 1400$ and is open to individuals who are fluent in English and have their own visa. Previous experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for the Malayalee community in Nairobi
- Coordinate and plan events and activities for the community
- Manage communications, including emails, social media, and newsletters
- Maintain accurate records of community members and attendance at events
- Collaborate with other organizations and businesses to create partnerships and opportunities for the community
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing budgets, handling inquiries, and maintaining community resources
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Previous experience in event planning or community management is a plus
