Preservation Architect
We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Dickirch. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring that they maintain their original design and character while also meeting modern safety and building codes. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to complete restoration projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of historical buildings to determine necessary restoration or preservation work.
- Developing detailed preservation plans that consider the building's original design, materials used, and any necessary updates for safety or functionality.
- Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to execute preservation projects.
- Overseeing construction work to ensure adherence to preservation plans and standards.
- Performing regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, including budgets, timelines, and records of materials used.
- Staying up-to-date with relevant preservation laws, regulations, and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect.
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles and preservation techniques.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to historic structures.
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary: $1200 per month
City: Dickirch (Philippine nationals preferred)
Note: This is a full-time position for foreigners who are fluent in English. This job does not require relocation as it can be done remotely.
