Preservation Architect
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Dickirch. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring they are structurally sound and in compliance with preservation guidelines. This is an English-speaking job, open to candidates of any nationality.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and strategies
- Collaborating with engineers and other professionals to determine the best course of action
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Overseeing restoration projects, ensuring adherence to preservation guidelines
- Conducting research on materials, construction techniques, and historical significance of buildings
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all preservation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Knowledge of preservation principles, guidelines, and regulations
- Familiarity with historic building materials and construction techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
