Power Engineer


The Power Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining power systems and equipment in Nakuru, ensuring the safe and efficient supply of electricity. The ideal candidate will have experience in power engineering, preferably in a similar role, and possess strong technical skills. They must also have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing power systems, including transformers, generators, and switchgear
- Conducting regular maintenance inspections and repairs on existing systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with power equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians on projects
- Providing technical support to other departments as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in power engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred:
- Previous experience working in Nakuru or similar environment
- Experience with project management software
- Knowledge of renewable energy sources
- Experience working with international teams
- Fluency in English

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nakuru (Filipino candidates preferred but not required)
