Power Engineer


We are in need of a skilled Power Engineer to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power systems and equipment. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and providing technical support for power-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain power systems and equipment
- Conduct feasibility studies and make recommendations for new power projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Troubleshoot power-related issues and provide technical support as needed
- Collaborate with other engineers to improve existing systems and processes
- Monitor power usage and make recommendations for energy conservation
- Plan and oversee maintenance of power equipment
- Stay updated on industry advancements and implement new technologies when applicable

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Power Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuits, and systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards for power systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own valid work visa for Kenya.
