Maintenance Technician

A maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of various equipment and systems within a facility. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, as well as a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating machinery, and replacing worn parts
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities performed
- Coordinate with outside contractors for larger repairs or installations
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed when performing maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes

Salary: $1700 per month
