Plasterboard Worker



We are seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions in residential and commercial buildings. Your duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific spaces, securing plasterboard to walls and ceilings using hand tools or adhesives, applying joint tape and compound to create smooth surfaces, and sanding and finishing surfaces for painting or wallpapering. The ideal candidate will have experience working with plasterboard, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plasterboard Worker
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Strong knowledge of different types of plasterboard and their applications
- Experience with hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy plasterboard sheets
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and installations
- Good communication skills for working with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing job requirements

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
- Secure plasterboard sheets using hand tools or adhesives
- Apply joint tape and compound for smooth surfaces
- Sand surfaces for painting or wallpapering
- Repair damaged plasterboards by patching holes or cracks
- Install insulation behind plasterboards if needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress
and any issues that may arise
- Maintain clean work area at all times
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Clairvaux, France
