Indian Mason - Contract Position in Nairobi


We are seeking a skilled Indian Mason to join our team on a contract basis in Nairobi. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using bricks, stones, and other materials. You will work on various projects including residential buildings, commercial properties, and infrastructure developments.

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with experience as a mason
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Skilled in mixing and applying mortar and other building materials
- Familiar with various masonry techniques such as bricklaying, stonemasonry, and plastering
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment
- Lay bricks or stones according to construction plans and specifications
- Cut or shape bricks using hand tools or power tools as needed
- Mix mortar or grout according to proportions for specific projects
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones as needed
- Apply sealant or waterproofing to structures as required
- Ensure all safety standards are followed on the job site at all times

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1700$ per month.

City:
This job is based in Nairobi. Candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months. There is potential for extension based on performance.
