Executive Chef


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our luxury resort in Eschen. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.

Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes in line with current food trends and guest preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and presentation is visually appealing
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations for kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of food service for events and special occasions

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and international cuisines
- Ability to effectively manage a team while maintaining a positive work environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Knowledge of health codes and regulations related to food preparation
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
