Foundry Technician

As a Foundry Technician in our manufacturing plant in Zagreb, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various foundry equipment to produce high-quality metal castings. You will also be involved in the inspection and testing of castings to ensure they meet quality standards. This is a contract position that does not offer accommodation, so we are seeking candidates who are already located in Zagreb or willing to relocate at their own expense. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Croatian applicants.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with foundry equipment and knowledge of metal casting processes. You must also be able to follow safety protocols and work well within a team environment. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise.

As a Foundry Technician, your duties will include operating furnaces, sand mixers, molds, and other foundry equipment according to established procedures. You will monitor the casting process and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. You will also conduct inspections on finished castings using various measuring tools and report any defects or issues.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area. This includes following all safety protocols, properly disposing of waste materials, and conducting routine maintenance on equipment.

This is an ideal position for someone who has recently completed training in foundry technology or has 1-2 years of experience working in a foundry setting. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds but prefer those with fluency in English as this is an English-speaking environment.
