English Teacher


We are hiring an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Nairobi. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans, teaching grammar and vocabulary, and assessing students' progress. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it an ideal opportunity for Canadians or non-native English speakers looking to gain experience in teaching. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided. Accommodation and a free visa and ticket will also be provided for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Facilitate interactive classroom discussions and activities to enhance students' learning
- Assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and quizzes
- Provide individualized support to students who may be struggling with the language
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure consistency in teaching methods and materials
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding students' progress
- Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for teaching and working with students of various ages
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt them to different learning styles
- Patience and empathy when working with students who may have different levels of understanding
- Willingness to learn new teaching methods and techniques through ongoing training

Compensation:
This position offers a salary of 1700$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates. Additionally, the company will cover the cost of the visa application process and provide a free plane ticket.
