Language Tutor

We are in need of a skilled Language Tutor to join our team in Oslo on a contract basis. As a Language Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to students of all ages and levels. Your main goal will be to help students improve their language skills and achieve their learning objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and excellent communication skills. Previous experience as a tutor or language instructor is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare individualized lesson plans according to the needs of each student
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and other language skills in an engaging manner
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement
- Encourage students to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the target language
- Utilize various teaching materials such as textbooks, worksheets, audiovisual aids, etc.
- Create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and comfortable asking questions

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in the target language (preferably English)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as a tutor or language instructor is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Education or related field is an asset
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different students
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)

Location: Oslo, Norway (candidates with valid work permit preferred)
