Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine
As a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, you will be responsible for creating delicious, authentic and visually appealing desserts, pastries and sweets. You will use your expertise in Indian flavors and ingredients to develop unique and innovative dessert recipes that will delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement new dessert menus in line with our restaurant's concept and theme
- Oversee the production of all pastry items, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Train new pastry staff on proper techniques and recipes
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Excellent knowledge of Indian spices, flavors and cooking techniques
- Strong creativity in developing new dessert recipes
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff
Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Muscat, Oman
