Junior DevOps Developer

As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will work on developing and implementing automation processes to support the software development life cycle. You will collaborate with software developers and IT teams to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software applications. This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles, as well as experience with scripting languages and automation tools. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced DevOps professionals and gain valuable skills in this rapidly growing field.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for build, deployment, and testing processes
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure reliable infrastructure for software deployments
- Continuously research and implement new technologies to improve efficiency
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of software development principles
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash)
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a DevOps environment
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)

Salary: $1600/month
