Barber for Indian Salon in Akron, Ohio


We are a well-established Indian salon in Akron, Ohio seeking a skilled and experienced Barber to join our team. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair cutting and styling services to our clients, with a focus on traditional Indian hairstyles and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and consult with them to determine their desired haircut or style
- Provide traditional Indian haircuts and styling techniques such as threading, trimming, and shaping using specialized tools
- Recommend hair care products to clients based on their hair type and needs
- Keep workstations clean and sanitized to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Stay up-to-date with current hairstyles and trends in the Indian community
- Build a loyal clientele by providing exceptional customer service
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional manner

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Barber in an Indian salon or barbershop setting
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian hairstyles, techniques, and tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have own set of barbering tools
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings when needed

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time (6-month contract with possibility of extension)

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
