Information Security Analyst

An established financial institution in Karachi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in information security, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's sensitive information and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential vulnerabilities and risks in the company's information systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious or unauthorized behavior
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Keep up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies in the field of information security
- Collaborate with other teams to implement security measures across the organization

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
- Experience with network security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.
- Knowledge of encryption methods and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: USD 1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Karachi (local candidates preferred)
