Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Nizwa. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a degree in accounting or related field, fluent in English, and possess a valid biometric passport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting and grow their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and report preparation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Review and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Monitor expenses and budgeting processes
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy of financial records

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: 1700$
