Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Clairvaux, France)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our Indian restaurant located in the beautiful city of Clairvaux, France. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menus with a focus on traditional Indian cuisine
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high quality standards and efficient operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency according to restaurant standards
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end Indian restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine including spices, herbs, and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Experience in menu development, cost control, and inventory management
- Attention to detail with a passion for creating visually appealing dishes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $900 per week for this full-time position.
