Junior Accountant
Location: Bergen, Norway
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable)
Employment Type: Contract, Full-time


We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Bergen, Norway. This is a contract position with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Support payroll processing as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing degree)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role (internship experience will be considered)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
