Web Developer

The Web Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites and web applications for our clients. This includes designing, coding, testing, and debugging websites to ensure they meet client requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in front-end and back-end development, as well as knowledge of web design principles and SEO best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are also essential for this role. The Web Developer should be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension or permanent employment. The salary for this role is 1500$ per month, with accommodation provided if desired. Preference will be given to candidates with their own visa or who are willing to obtain one. This job is located in Jerusalem, Israel.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages
- Collaborate with designers to ensure website functionality and visual appeal
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website ranking
- Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely solutions
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends
- Communicate project progress and any potential challenges to team members or clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required)
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages
- Familiarity with web design principles and best practices
- Knowledge of SEO techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience working on e-commerce websites
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress
