Merchandiser - Retail Store (Alta, Norway)



We are currently hiring for a full-time Merchandiser to join our retail store team in Alta, Norway. Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills to ensure our store displays are visually appealing and well-stocked. As a Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in driving sales and promoting our brand through effective merchandising techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with store management to create visually appealing displays that align with the company's brand image
- Ensure all products are properly stocked and displayed according to company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or low stock items to management
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines
- Implement promotional strategies and maintain promotional signage throughout the store
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge in order to effectively assist customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback on sales performance, customer feedback, and potential merchandising opportunities

Requirements:

- Previous experience in merchandising or retail is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual merchandising guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of organization
- Proficient computer skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working as a Merchandiser or in retail within the fashion industry
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Understanding of current market trends in the fashion industry

Salary: $1200 per month
