We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Fonvieille, Monaco. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, creating and implementing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that showcase our restaurant's concept and vision
- Manage kitchen staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation and ensure the highest quality standards are met
- Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies
- Monitor food costs and make necessary adjustments to maintain profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on business strategies and budget planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
