JAVA Developer



We are currently hiring a skilled and motivated JAVA Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Your primary focus will be on creating and implementing efficient and reliable code, while also working closely with other developers, designers, and project managers to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using JAVA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality control

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working with JAVA development tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
