Floral Designer (Indian candidates preferred)

We are seeking a skilled and creative Floral Designer to join our team in Akron. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, parties, and corporate events. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences and needs, and use your expertise to design unique and visually appealing arrangements. Indian candidates with experience in floral design and a strong knowledge of traditional Indian floral arrangements are preferred. Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their floral needs and preferences
- Design and create floral arrangements based on client's requests
- Select appropriate flowers, foliage, and other decorative elements to create visually stunning arrangements
- Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers according to established design standards
- Ensure quality control by inspecting all flowers for freshness and removing any damaged ones
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new materials when needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques in floral design

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional Indian floral designs preferred
- Excellent design skills with an eye for detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand client's needs
- Good time-management skills to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Creativity, passion, and enthusiasm for flowers

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month along with opportunities for growth within the company.

Location:
This position is based in Akron but may require occasional travel within the city or surrounding areas.

Visa:
Candidates must have their own valid visa or work permit.
