Surveying Technician

We are a reputable surveying company based in the bustling city of Os, looking for a skilled and experienced Surveying Technician to join our team. As a Surveying Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to land surveys, construction projects, and other geographical information. Your main duties will include conducting field surveys, operating surveying equipment, creating maps and charts, and assisting with data analysis.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience working as a Surveying Technician or in a similar position. Preference will be given to female candidates. You should also possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in using surveying software and equipment is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various instruments such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Assist in setting up survey control points and benchmarks
- Collect data related to topography, land boundaries, and other geographical features
- Create maps, charts, and reports using survey data
- Perform calculations to analyze collected data
- Assist with drafting plans for construction projects
- Maintain accurate records of all survey data collected

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surveying or related field
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying or Geomatics preferred
- Proficient in using surveying software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Trimble Business Center
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical fitness for performing field work

Salary:
$1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Os City (preference given to local candidates)
