Senior Dietitian

We are in search of a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Dietitian to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert dietary advice and support to our clients, as well as overseeing the work of other dietitians on the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' dietary needs, taking into consideration their medical history, lifestyle, and goals
- Develop personalized nutrition plans based on clients' individual needs and preferences
- Monitor and track clients' progress towards their dietary goals, providing ongoing support and guidance
- Conduct nutrition education sessions for individuals or groups on topics such as healthy eating, weight management, and chronic disease management
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in the field of nutrition to ensure the most effective advice is given to clients
- Oversee the work of other dietitians on the team, providing mentorship and guidance as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients with complex medical conditions
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating habits and prevent nutrition-related diseases

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Dietitian, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and guidelines, including special diets for various health conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in Norwegian (or willingness to learn)
