Metal Fabricator


Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at our company in La-Condamine. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures and components using various tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to determine project specifications
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using saws, shears, and other tools
- Weld or solder metal pieces together using various techniques
- Use grinders and sanders to smooth rough edges on metal surfaces
- Assemble and install metal structures according to project plans
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy of workmanship
- Repair damaged metal structures or components as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Skilled in reading blueprints and interpreting project specifications
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools used in metal fabrication
- Experience with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1400 per month. Overtime may be available depending on project deadlines.
