Pastry Chef

A luxury hotel in Monte-Carlo is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful and delicious pastries, as well as experience in fine dining and pastry production. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing the dessert menu, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training junior chefs. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute the dessert menu for the restaurant
- Maintain high quality standards for all pastry products
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Work closely with other members of the culinary team to coordinate menus
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury or fine dining establishment
- Passion for creating visually appealing and delicious pastries
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, including chocolate work, sugar work, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise junior chefs
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality control
- Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent education/training preferred
- Previous experience working in Monte-Carlo or other luxury destinations
- Knowledge of international cuisine
