Head Pastry Chef in Monte-Carlo, Monaco
We are searching for a highly skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including menu planning, ordering ingredients, managing a team of pastry chefs and ensuring the quality and presentation of all pastries meets our high standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end establishment
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and skills
- Ability to create visually appealing and delicious desserts
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus for all pastry offerings
- Order ingredients and supplies according to budget and menu requirements
- Train and supervise pastry chefs, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
- Create new recipes while also maintaining classic dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Salary:
