Baker for Busy Bakery in Os, Norway



We are a busy bakery in Os, Norway seeking a skilled and experienced baker to join our team. As a baker, you will be responsible for creating a wide variety of delicious baked goods, such as breads, pastries, and cakes. You must have a strong understanding of baking techniques and ingredients, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- Mix and shape dough by hand or using machines
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proof boxes
- Decorate and finish products with icings, glazes, toppings, or fillings
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and packaged for sale
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the bakery
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a professional baker
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure products are ready on time
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Norwegian proficiency is a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month. Overtime pay may be available during busy periods.
