We are seeking a talented and experienced Barista to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, handle cash transactions, and provide excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 2 years of experience as a Barista in a fast-paced environment. You should have strong knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and be able to create latte art. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team.

As our Barista, your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages according to company standards
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee bar area
- Handling cash transactions accurately
- Providing exceptional customer service by taking orders and answering questions about our products
- Suggesting new drinks or specials based on customer preferences
- Restocking supplies as needed
- Training new hires on the company's beverage preparation procedures

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience as a Barista in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of different coffee brewing methods
- Ability to create latte art is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

As an employee of our company, you will receive a competitive salary of $1300 per month. Please note that this position does not include accommodation. Applicants must have their own valid visa to work in Portugal.
