Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's information assets. This individual will work closely with various departments to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. The ideal candidate will have experience in information security and be well-versed in current security technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential security threats
- Monitor network activity and systems logs for suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security of our information assets
- Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and trends, and make recommendations for enhancements to our current security measures
- Investigate any reported security incidents or breaches, and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems, networks, and applications
- Conduct training sessions for employees on information security awareness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption technologies, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Nessus) and penetration testing techniques
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
