Senior Architectural Designer
As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process of various architectural projects in our Los Angeles office. Your expertise in conceptual design, technical detailing, and project management will contribute to the success of our firm. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of the design process including programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
- Create innovative and functional designs that meet client expectations and adhere to building codes and regulations
- Oversee a team of designers and drafters, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to develop project scope, budget, and schedule
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction is in accordance with design intent
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve design processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Architectural Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in both conceptual design and technical detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, construction methods, materials selection, and building systems integration
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively present ideas to clients and stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week plus benefits package including health insurance. This is a full-time position based in Los Angeles. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
