Pastry Chef at a High-End Restaurant in La-Condamine
We are a high-end restaurant located in the heart of La-Condamine, seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our dessert menu, as well as overseeing the production of all baked goods for our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update dessert menu in collaboration with Executive Chef
- Create new and innovative dessert recipes while also maintaining quality and consistency with existing dishes
- Oversee the production of all baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes
- Train and supervise pastry cooks and assistants
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of all desserts
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Creative flair for developing new dessert recipes that align with the overall concept of the restaurant
- Strong leadership skills to effectively train and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines while also maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or relevant field preferred
- Certification in pastry making or baking is a plus
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef
Salary: $1300/month
