Job Title: Instrument Technician

An instrument technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation systems. They work with a variety of tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure the proper functioning of instruments. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and knowledge of different types of instrumentation systems. They should also have the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. The job may involve working in confined spaces or at heights, so physical fitness and safety awareness are important qualities.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation systems
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments using various tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure gauges
- Repair or replace faulty parts of instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose complex problems
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Stay updated on new technologies in the field of instrumentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification in instrumentation or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an instrument technician
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Familiarity with different types of instrumentation systems such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit to work in confined spaces or at heights if required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Valid work visa for Dubai (visa sponsorship may be provided for suitable candidates)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Dubai. Accommodation will not be provided, but visa sponsorship may be available for all nationalities. English speaking candidates are preferred, but proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
