Part-Time Surveyor
A part-time surveyor is responsible for conducting land surveys to determine property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant data. This position requires strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to use specialized equipment and software to accurately measure and map land areas. The ideal candidate for this role would have a passion for surveying and a willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys according to established procedures and standards
- Use specialized tools, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners, to accurately measure and map land areas
- Collect data on topographical features, property boundaries, and other relevant information
- Record data in appropriate formats using computer software
- Analyze collected data to create accurate maps and reports
- Communicate with clients or project managers to gather project requirements and discuss results
- Keep accurate records of all survey activities
- Adhere to safety procedures while working in the field
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in surveying preferred
- Previous experience in surveying is not required but preferred
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and computer software programs
- Strong math skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work part-time hours during weekdays
Location: Muharraq (Bahrain)
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
