Junior Database Administrator - Vilnius, Lithuania


We are hiring a driven and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our growing team in Vilnius. As a Junior DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our company's databases. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing proper access controls
- Create and maintain documentation for all database systems
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database design for better performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Basic understanding of database concepts such as normalization, indexing, and query optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Lithuanian is a plus)

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.
