Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's data and systems. They will work closely with IT teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, develop and implement security measures, and monitor for any suspicious activity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and best practices, as well as experience with risk assessment and incident response. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure data protection
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are implemented effectively
- Train employees on information security policies and best practices
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats or weaknesses
- Assist in incident response efforts when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001)
- Experience with risk assessment tools and methods
- Familiarity with network protocols and web technologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Location:
This position is based in Bergen. We welcome candidates from all nationalities who have their own visa.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
