Head Baker


As the Head Baker, you will oversee all aspects of the bakery operation in our busy café in Kaunas. We are seeking a talented and experienced baker who can lead a team, ensure high-quality products and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for baking and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all bakery staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand
- Ensure that all baked goods are made according to recipes and meet quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menus to keep the bakery offerings fresh and attract customers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth operation of the café
- Monitor sales data and make adjustments as needed to increase profitability

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker or similar role in a busy café or restaurant environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products consistently
- Creativity in developing new recipes and menu items
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Preferred Nationality:

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required for this position.

Type of Employment:
This is a full-time position, with the possibility of part-time hours during slower periods.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Baker in a busy café or restaurant is required.

Education:
A degree or certification in Baking, Pastry Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Other Requirements:
Candidates must have a valid biometric passport and be legally eligible to work in Lithuania.
