Entry-Level Cashier in Bergen, Norway
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Entry-Level Cashier to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions at the cash register.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and merchandise returns
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Salary:
This position offers a competitive entry-level salary of 1300$ per month.
