Junior Surveyor - Al-Malikiyah, Syria


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Surveyor to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As a Junior Surveyor, you will assist in the collection and analysis of data related to land surveying and mapping activities. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and execution of land surveys using various instruments and equipment.
- Collect and record data on land features, boundaries, elevations, and other topographical information.
- Use software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create maps, charts, and reports based on survey data.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and consistent data collection.
- Follow safety procedures while working on construction sites or in remote locations.
- Perform quality control checks on collected data to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain survey equipment and keep track of inventory.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic surveying principles, methods, techniques, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for mapping and drafting.
- Ability to interpret maps, plans, diagrams, legal descriptions, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a surveying assistant or intern is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with GPS/GNSS technology is an asset.
- Fluent in Arabic is preferred.
