Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in La-Condamine. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of excavating equipment to assist in construction projects. Your main duties will include digging trenches, leveling terrain, loading and unloading materials, and performing routine maintenance on the equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as an excavator operator and possess a valid heavy equipment operator license. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of excavating equipment (such as backhoes, bulldozers, and dump trucks) to complete construction projects
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with other workers on the job site
- Dig trenches, level terrain, and move materials as directed by the project manager
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an excavator operator
- Valid heavy equipment operator license
- Good knowledge of different types of excavating equipment and their uses
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Physically fit to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
