Metal Worker - Entry Level

As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures in our workshop located in Svalbard. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the materials needed for each project
- Measure, cut, and shape metal pieces using various tools such as saws, grinders, and welding equipment
- Join metal pieces together using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Use hand tools to bend, drill, and shape metal pieces according to project specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Clean and maintain all equipment used during the fabrication process
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times

Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must have a valid work visa for Svalbard or be eligible for visa sponsorship
- Basic knowledge of metalworking tools and techniques preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects when required
