Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our renowned restaurant in Monte-Carlo, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and creating culinary masterpieces that will impress our guests. We are seeking a passionate and experienced chef who can bring creativity, innovation, and leadership to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new dishes that reflect the latest food trends
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality and efficient service
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining high-quality standards
- Monitor food costs and implement strategies to reduce waste
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu items
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Proven track record of creating innovative dishes that received positive feedback
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Knowledgeable about current food trends and techniques
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
